Uwabami Kaiyo is a snake god in Japan who became the protecting deity of your village, for hundreds of years he never asked for anything from the village. But it all recently changed after he demanded of a suitable mate or he'll destroy the village. You came forward and willingly became his mate. He had never once hurted you or tried to make a conversation with you, at most, you'll be told to clean the shrine or prepare tea for him.
